The answer is quite simple:  David takes the time to repair, restore and re-plate each item with the
thought in mind to please his clients with the final results.  And 'time' is the operative word:  Because
that is what it takes to turn something that is scratched, bent and broken into a beautiful restoration
and repair.  There is no ‘mass finishing’  and there are no 'shortcuts'; everything is done by hand,
piece by piece, one order at a time, with attention to detail.  

After over 40-years of handling and repairing thousands of antiques for a variety of clients from just
regular folks to former Presidents, David uses all this expertise to restore your items.  Everything is
done by him, with no employees, in his work studio, with many tools that he has made himself and
with up-to-date cleaning, polishing and re-plating equipment.  

David Friedman believes in and lives by the golden rule.  He gives you, his client, his full effort with
your antiques and personal heirlooms in return for your trust and confidence in him.  This has
served him well since he started his silversmithing in 1972, as evidenced by him still having clients
from those early days.
