SILVER REPAIRS AND RESTORATION Do we repair and replace loose knife blades? Yes. Can we solder broken parts? Yes. Can we do solder repairs to Silver plate? Sterling Silver? Pewter? Brass? Spelter? Copper? Britannia Metal? Yes. Do we repair broken arms, legs, spouts, handles, hinges? Yes. Do we repair Spelter? Yes. Do we remove dents, dings, indentations? Yes. Do we remove garbage disposal damage? Yes. Do we polish & lacquer brass and copper? Yes. Do we repair and polish Pewter? Yes. What are the black spots on my sterling silver? These are corrosion spots. We can help you get rid of them through our professional polishing process. You will need to maintain the upkeep so these spots will not reappear. Do we repair Jewelry? Yes and No. We repair sterling (solid silver) jewelry, with no stones present. Do we re-plate Jewelry? Yes. We re-plate jewelry, pins, chains, etc. in Silver, 14K, 18K and 24K gold. NOTE: we do not process items with stones. Do we repair items that are not antique? Yes. Can I send just a small job? Yes. Any job is acceptable. We do have a minimum charge of $38. How do I know if it is worth repairing? We do not want you to spend money on repairs or plating unless it is appropriate. Sometimes you may opt to restore a heirloom because of the personal value it holds for you.
